This text indicates that when we show love for one another, we automatically fulfill the law. If we truly love, we will not do anything that is harmful to others. We will keep everything in right priority and become sensitive to the needs of others.
First Corinthians 13 is called the love chapter, and it gives us a clear definition on how love is to conduct itself: “Love suffers long and is kind, love does not envy, love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails” (1 Cor. 13:4–8).
Let us reach to the people around us with God’s law of love that brings healing, comfort, and joy.
